I’ve been working on innovation and development of digital and video materials for language learners around the globe since 2016, when I first joined Digital Learning Associates. Before then, I combined my work in publishing and translation with teaching English for young learners. I joined the Hands up Project in the summer of 2019 and met my amazing friend and colleague Dalya shortly after. Together with her and her wonderful students, I am proud to have shared incredible experiences that both explore new and amazing ways of learning and teaching English, and fill me with hope for a better world.

I have been teaching English for four years. I teach young learners at the Mamonia Elementary Co-ed ( A ) School in Gaza, Palestine. I really believe in the power of storytelling and drama and how it can help motivate my students to improve their English. Technology has been an important part of my work and I am continuously exploring the new possibilities it can offer. Technology has allowed me to be a part of the Hands Up Project since 2017 and has helped connect my students to the rest of the world and use their English to address amazing new people.
