The International Day of Friendship was proclaimed in 2011 by the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities.

So join us in a special online event celebrating the UN International Day of Friendship.

• With lockdown live performances of 'Unity Play' and 'The Guitar' by students from Palestine and Argentina.

• Guests include authors JJ Wilson and Kate Clanchy and volunteers Sahar and Alex, telling the story of a very special Hands Up friendship.
